Mark is a lifelong outdoorsman and world class instructor; in addition, he's a Marine Corps veteran with close to ten years experience conducting Reconnaissance and Scout Sniper operations. While in uniform, Mark was hand selected to serve as the chief instructor for the Marine Corps' exceedingly challenging Mountain Scout Sniper and Mountain Survival Courses. His career then transitioned to instructing all skill sets related to hunting. As an instructor, Mark is unparalleled in his ability to transfer knowledge and increase competency. He has been an avid hunter since he was 10 and is considered a true "woodsman", being an expert in long range shooting, observation, tracking and living off the land. Mark participated in the History Channels “Alone” television series on season 7 where he battled the Arctic environment by himself with only 10 items for 44 days. He Currently is instructing courses through IMS and serves as the primary shooting Instructor for Branded Rock Canyon. He has teamed up with Keith Parker as an assistant instructor for any courses with more then 6 individuals or when requested. A versatile, dynamic and engaging instructor, Mark is clearly head and shoulders above the industry standard!
